National Novel Writing Month - my NaNoWriMo diary

Reading TGIO event Sunday Dec. 4th

The mid month meeting was a bust but it was a late announcement and I did part of my novel.

Anyway I've decided to do a end of NaNo meeting so

Sunday 4th Dec. 2pm - 4pm

The cafe in Waterstones in the Oracle Centre, Reading

Post Nano TGIO. Anyone want to celebrate or commiserate or share your stories? (The stories of the stories perhaps?) Talk about what to do next or what went wrong or right.

(A4 NaNo icon on the table or see my profile photo)

Email/PM me if any queries.

Reading meet Sunday afternoon (13th)

I’m now doing the mid month meet in Reading.

Sunday 16th 2pm to 4pm

Coffee Republic Broad Street, Reading

fpkk did say we could have the downstairs area. If that’s still on I’ll be down there. If not there, then in the main shop. In any case I shall have a NaNoWriMo A4 page on/by the table wherever it is.

Bring your story/problems. I’ll also bring the novel help matrix (from London ML, copy on my website) which can be fun and possibly some help.

I’ll be there. Hope you will too.

Reading Kick Off

Leo, Adrian and Nigel. (Apparently fpkk, iapetus2k2 and brother)

This is the Reading Kick Off meeting (plus myself).  I only found it because of Adrian's NaNoWriMo T-Shirt. There were lots of small groups there and it could have been any of them.  Anyway chatted about our NaNoWriMo plans.  Given encouragement there could be a mid-month meeting.

Kick Off Meetings London and Reading, UK

I don't know how much I'll put here but it's muy NaNoWriMo diary for what it's worth.

Went to London Kick Off meeting last might (Sat. 29th Oct.).  This is what I put on the London forum -

Enjoyed it last night. Pub a little hard to find. Found several weapons of mass destruction before I found the pub. (Several streets interconnect near there and pub could be mistaken for a funeral parlour if you don’t look carefully )

Anyway enjoyed it. At least this year I have a barebones of plot. Happily found that some people have more gunpowder than plot.

Work but don’t live in London but will try to get in for some of the other events.

P.S. I've paid for my halo. Honest! Hear it can take some time to get .

P.P.S. Going to Reading meeting later.
